Pillar one
Disaster risk knowledge and management
Pillar two
Detection, observations, monitoring, analysis, and forecasting of hazards
Pillar three
Warning dissemination and communication
Pillar four

Helping Small Island Developing States alert their populations and strengthen resilience
Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are a group of over fifty states throughout the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans, the Caribbean, and South China Sea. Despite representing less than 1% of the world’s population and less than 1% of total greenhouse gas emissions, SIDS are strong influencers of the loss and damage (L&D) agenda because they are among the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
Everbridge contributes to the UN-led Early Warnings for All program by providing Small Island Developing States with early warning dissemination solutions. Learn how the National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Centre (NDRRMC) of Mauritius selected Everbridge to power the early warning system for the country’s four islands.
